About this tool
This prompt optimizer was built as a personal productivity tool for my daily AI work as a Solutions Engineer. Rough prompts produce inconsistent outputs — this tool rewrites them using established prompt engineering patterns (role, context, constraints, output format) to get better results faster.
Built with vanilla JavaScript, a Netlify serverless function, and the OpenRouter API routing to free-tier models. No data is stored. If optimization fails, try switching to a different model in the dropdown above — free-tier model availability changes frequently.
